“Rollover accident”
STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (February 5, 2017) – According to the California Highway Patrol, 46-year-old passenger Jennifer Mason was killed in a DUI rollover collision on the Interstate 5, just south of Charter Way. (map)
The CHP reported that a 2010 Jeep, driven by drunk driver 43-year-old Albert Julian Flores, was traveling on the I-5 when he lost control and crashed into a guardrail and overturned around 12:30 a.m. Mason was ejected from the vehicle as a result of not wearing her seatbelt. Mason was transported to a hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The CHP stated that Flores was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated without gross negligence and driving under the influence.
“It’s unfortunate that motorists under the influence disregard the negative effects that may ensue from driving under the influence. Drunk drivers continue to endanger the safety of everyone,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a California car accident and personal injury attorney.
