The accident happened around 11:33 pm on Wednesday at the intersection of Chapman Avenue and Beach Boulevard. A woman was crossing the street near the intersection when she was struck by a gray colored car heading eastbound on Chapman Avenue.
The pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital with neck and back injuries, and leg injuries. She is listed in stable condition at this time, and authorities are attempting to find the suspect vehicle at this time.
