STANTON, CALIFORNIA (January 18, 2017) – A bicyclist was killed after they were hit by a car on Beach Boulevard and Chapman Avenue on Wednesday early morning, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 2:40 am at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Chapman Avenue. Paul Hurst, 38 year old male, was riding a bicycle in the area when he was struck by a champagne colored SUV, possibly a Nissan.

Paul Hurst was rushed to UCI Medical Center in Orange, but tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing into the accident to determine cause and liability.
