Arnold Pierce, 63, Killed in Crash on Southbound Beach Boulevard

“Pedestrian Fatality”

STANTON, CALIFORNIA (August 15, 2017) – 63-year-old Arnold Pierce was struck and killed while in a wheelchair on Beach Boulevard Tuesday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident occurred at approximately 2:47 p.m. at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Chapman Avenue. A Nissan Murano and a gold Acura sedan collided for reasons unknown while traveling southbound on Beach Boulevard.

The impact caused the Acura to veer onto the sidewalk and hit Pierce. The Acura then traveled over the sidewalk and struck a ow of parked vehicles.

Pierce was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange where he later succumbed to his injuries.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause and liability of the deadly collision.
