BANNING, CALIFORNIA (June 8, 2017) – Stanley Cleveck has been identified as the man that died after a small plane crash on June 2nd, according to a local news source. (map)
The small plane was en route to Palm Springs from Banning when it crashed into a tree just off Interstate 10 near Hargrave Street. The plane was carrying two people at the time of the accident.
One of those on board, identified as 87 year old Stanley Cleveck, succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital four days after the plane crash. It is unknown whether Cleveck was the pilot, or a passenger in the plane. The other occupant remains in the hospital at this time in unknown condition. The accident is still under investigation by the NTSB and the FAA.
