ST PETERSBURG, FLORIDA (October 18, 2017) – A small plane crash landed on a street in S. St Petersburg on Wednesday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 18th Avenue and 14th Street S. A twin engine Cessna registered to a charter company out of Opa-Locka crashed onto 18th Avenue, clipping several vehicles including a gold colored SUV. The plane also knocked down a power pole.
Three people were reportedly injured from the vehicles that were involved, and were hospitalized. The pilot reportedly survived the accident, but there has been no official word at this time. The accident remains under open investigation.
