SPRING VALLEY, CALIFORNIA (March 8, 2017) – A pedestrian was killed in an accident on Jamacha Boulevard on Wednesday evening, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 5:45 pm in the 9900 block of Jamacha Boulevard near Omega Street. A pedestrian was struck by a white Toyota sedan for an unknown reason.

The pedestrian sustained major injuries in the accident, and was tragically pronounced dead a short time later as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. The accident remains under active investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
