“Investigation Ongoing”

PRESCOTT, ARIZONA (September 22, 2017) – Two men were tragically killed in a plane crash on Friday morning, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened near Perkinsville Ranch, a few miles east of Paulden. A Cessna 172 occupied by two 19 year old men disappeared on Friday, and a search was initiated.

The plane was found in rugged terrain on Saturday afternoon, near Perkinsville Ranch. Sadly, both 19 year old Spencer Kihlstrom and 19 year old Jeremiah Linnertz were pronounced dead as a result of the accident. Linnertz left behind two small children.

The NTSB is on site to investigate the accident, and is collecting records from any available sources, including radar data and air traffic control communications if applicable. The accident remains under open investigation.
