SONOMA, CALIFORNIA (March 10, 2017) – A vehicle was involved in a crash on State Route 12 on Friday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 4:43 am on State Route 12 near West Verano Avenue. A Chevrolet Cobalt went off the roadway and sustained damages before ending up in the plot of the Palms Grill.
The driver, identified as a male, was trapped in the vehicle as a result and had to be extricated. The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Jesus Molina Lopez. The initial report states that the possibility of DUI has not been ruled out, and the accident remains under investigation.
