The accident happened around 7:00 pm on Carr Drive, near Highway 11. A pickup truck driven by Albert Moliere was involved in a collision with an Amtrak train, and the impact pushed his car into water and ejected Moliere.

82 year old Albert Moliere was tragically pronounced dead as a result of the accident. The accident remains under active investigation to determine cause and liability at this time. Initial reports indicate the crossing is equipped with gate arms and lights, but it is unknown if they were functioning at the time of Tuesday’s accident.

“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all the family members and friends of Albert Moliere as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
