SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA (December 22, 2016) – A pilot was seriously injured after a plane accident on Thursday near the Shreveport Downtown Airport, according to local news sources. (map)
The accident happened around 2:30 pm near Clyde Fant Parkway and Wells Island Road. A plane was involved in an accident, and authorities say they’re not sure if the plane crashed or was knocked over by the wind at this time.
The pilot suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
