“Construction Site Injury”
SHEPHERDSVILLE, KENTUCKY (August 23, 2017) – Three workers were assembling a crane and were injured when part of the crane fell at Coral Ridge Road Wednesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident occurred at 11:30 a.m. According to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Spokesperson Andrea Clifford, the “lifting eye” part of the crane mechanism broke and fell to the ground, injuring the three workers.
None of the injuries sustained by the three workers were thought to be life-threatening. The Crane Company employees who were injured were working on a project building a new bridge over nearby railroad tracks.
