The accident happened around 6:25 p.m. in the 300 block of Sutton Way, near Plaza Drive. A pedestrian, identified as 69-year-old Sergio Faccio, was struck by a car for an unknown reason on Sutton Way.
Sergio Faccio was rushed to a hospital, where despite extensive life-saving efforts, he was tragically pronounced dead. The driver that struck Sergio Faccio remained at the scene, as did several witnesses. The accident remains under active investigation at this time to determine cause and liability, however initial reports indicate there is a possibility Sergio Faccio was struck by a previous vehicle that fled the scene.
“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all the family members and friends of Sergio Faccio as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
