SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (February 27, 2017) – A tanker truck collided with two other vehicles and rolled over on Interstate 5 on Monday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 10:11 a.m. on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Interstate 90. A tanker truck was involved in a collision with a red Dodge pickup and a light colored SUV for unknown reasons, and the impact caused the tanker truck to rollover.
Three people were rushed to the hospital with unspecified injuries, but are reported to be in stable condition. The tanker truck was carrying a load of butane, and there may be a leak. A hazmat team responded to the scene and authorities are also conducting an investigation at this time.
“Police will gather evidence and conduct interviews with the drivers and witnesses to determine liability” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent driver who caused the accident.”
