SANTA TERESA: Construction Worker Killed at Wind Blade Storage Site

SANTA TERESA, NEW MEXICO (December 12, 2016) – A worker suffered a fatal accident at a wind blade storage site in southern New Mexico on Monday, according to a local news source. (map)

A worker, identified as possibly being in his 50s, was working at the Arizona-based TPI Composites Inc. wind blade storage site in Santa Teresa. Around 12:30 pm, the worker was crushed by a heavy steel block.

The man was tragically pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. The investigation is ongoing into the tragic accident at this time to determine cause and liability.
