SANTA PAULA, CALIFORNIA (January 6, 2017) – Cristina Jaloma has been identified as the woman killed in a pedestrian accident on Friday on Palm Avenue, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 5:30 pm at the intersection of Palm Avenue and Main Street. A 58 year old woman identified as Cristina Jaloma was crossing the street in or near a marked crosswalk when she was struck by an unidentified vehicle.
Cristina Jaloma was rushed to Ventura County Medical Center by responding paramedics, and tragically succumbed to her injuries and died. The vehicle that struck her remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities as their continue their ongoing investigation.
