SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA (January 23, 2017) – A 17 year old girl was struck by a car and injured on Monday near Camino Colegio and Miller Street, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 8:18 am near Camino Colegio and Miller Street, a few blocks from Santa Maria High School. A vehicle backed into a 17 year old girl for unknown reasons.

The teenager was rushed to Marian Regional Medical Center with major injuries, and her current condition is unknown. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability.
