SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA (March 28, 2017) – Two vehicles were involved in a rollover collision Tuesday afternoon on Highway 101 near Betteravia Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The incident was reported at 4:15 p.m. CHP, Santa Barbara County Fire Department, and American Medical Response arrived at the scene on northbound Highway 101 south of Betteravia Road. Rescue crews found a black Toyota resting on its rooftop while a yellow vehicle rested on its side.
Minor injuries were reported, however, the names of the victims involved in the collision have not been released. The northbound Highway 101 traffic was slowed due to the investigation of the accident and the clearing of the debris from the highway.
