“Multi-Car Injury Collision”
SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA (June 23, 2017) – Four vehicles were involved in a collision creating a chain reaction on the southbound lanes of the Highway 101 early Friday morning, according to California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. The driver of a pickup truck tried to maneuver around another vehicle to avoid hitting it. the pickup truck then hit a farming supply truck. Two other vehicles collided as well.
Rescue crews were called to the scene. The driver of a red sedan sustained minor injuries ad was transported to a local hospital for treatment. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
