SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA (April 26, 2017) – Two cars were involved in an accident on the 55 Freeway on Wednesday, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 10:02 am on the southbound side of State Route 55, near 4th Street. A yellow Hummer and a red Lexus were involved in a collision for an unknown reason.
At least one person sustained injuries, and paramedics responded to the scene. The condition of those involved in the accident is unknown at this time. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability.
