SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA (March 28, 2017) – A two car accident happened on Interstate 5 on Tuesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened on the southbound side of Interstate 5 near State Route 55. A silver BMW was disabled in lanes, then was struck by a blue Toyota Camry. A witness stated that the driver of the blue Camry was on his phone prior to the accident and not paying attention.
An ambulance responded to the scene, but the condition of those involved is unknown. The accident remains under active investigation as authorities attempt to determine cause and liability.
