“Bicyclist vs. Vehicle Collision”
SANGER, CALIFORNIA (February 21, 2017) – A pedestrian was involved in a hit-and-run vehicle crash on Tuesday evening, according to the Sanger Police Department. (map)
The hit-and-run collision occurred at approximately 9:19 p.m at the 500 block of O Street south of 5th Street. Witnesses reported seeing a dark colored truck, SUV, or van collide with the cyclist and fled the scene. The bicyclist was found at the scene with his bicycle damaged next to him, according to police officials.
The bicyclist sustained major injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. The identity of the man was not available at the time of the incident.
