CHP investigating multi-vehicle wreck
SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA (December 12, 2016) – At least one person was injured in a traffic accident at the intersection of Highway 101 and Lucas Valley Road on Monday afternoon.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred at 5:32 p.m. and involved a black Mazda CX-9, a beige/gold Toyota sedan, and an unknown vehicle.
The driver of the Mazda was reported to have high blood pressure and in need of medical attention.
A passenger on the Toyota appeared to have suffered a head injury. The Toyota also sustained major front-end damage.
Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and attended to the injured parties. One person was transported to Novato Community Community Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
The California Highway Patrol will issue a report after a thorough analysis of the evidence.
