“Four Car Crash”
SAN MARCOS, CALIFORNIA (April 3, 2017) – Four vehicles were involved in a collision Monday afternoon on eastbound Highway 78, west of Nordahl Road, according to police authorities. (map)
The incident occurred at approximately 5:09 p.m. The vehicles involved in the crash were a blue Toyota Prius, a blue Mercedes Benz sedan, and two other vehicles. The vehicles blocked the No. 3 lane of highway 78, according to authorities. The collision caused major injuries. One woman was inside the vehicle when rescue crews arrived at the scene.
The identities of the victims of the collision were not released. No other information regarding the accident was available. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the incident.
