SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA (December 15, 2016) – According to the California Highway Patrol, 66-year-old Thomas Eugene Ince was killed in a solo car DUI collision on Highway 41, north of Highway 46. (MAP)
The CHP reported that Ince lost control of his car, hit a sign, drove down an embankment, and landed on its side. Ince was transported to Twin Cities Hospital in Templeton where he succumbed to his injuries.
The CHP states that Ince was under the influence of alcohol and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
“It’s unfortunate that motorists under the influence disregard the negative effects that may ensue from driving under the influence. DUI drivers continue to endanger the safety of everyone,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law, a personal injury law firm.
