“Seven Car Crash”
SAN LEANDRO, CALIFORNIA (February 8, 2017) – A multi car accident on Wednesday on the 880 Freeway may have resulted from street racing, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 10:50 pm on the northbound side of the 880 Freeway, slightly north of Washington Avenue. Three cars were reportedly engaged in a street race prior to a collision that involved up to seven vehicles.
An ambulance responded to the scene to tend to those injured in the collision, and the condition off those involved is unknown at this time. The accident remains under active investigation.
