“Big Rig Crash”
SAN LEANDRO, CALIFORNIA (April 4, 2017) – A big rig and multiple other vehicles were involved in a collision on Interstate 880 on Tuesday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 7:53 am on the southbound side of Interstate 880 near Davis Street. A big rig, a white Toyota Camry, a gray Toyota Tacoma, a gray Prius, and up to six additional vehicles were involved in a collision for an unknown reason.
At least one person sustained injuries, and an ambulance responded to the scene to tend to those injured in the accident. The accident remains under active investigation to determine cause and liability.
