2-Vehicle Collision on Ortega Highway
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA (December 8, 2016) – Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash on the Ortega Highway at Cristianitos Road at about 9:27 a.m. on Thursday morning, reported the California Highway Patrol. (map)
According to the CHP report, a Chevrolet Suburban and black sedan were involved in the accident near Cristianitos Road. Due to the impact, the SUV came to a rest in a ditch 10 feet off the freeway.
An ambulance arrived at the scene and provided medical attention to the injured victims. The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
