
California Highway Patrol Investigating Traffic Accident
SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA (December 12, 2016) – Injuries were reported following a traffic accident at the intersection of Highway 87 and the westbound Capitol Expressway off-ramp. (map)
According to the CHP report, a black pickup truck, possibly a Dodge Ram, and a flatbed truck were involved in a collision at about 12:50 a.m. Monday morning.
The pickup truck sustained major front-end damage when it slammed into the back of the flatbed truck.
Emergency response teams were called to the scene along with towing services to attend to the victims and restore the flow of traffic. The number of people injures in the accident has not been disclosed.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
