“Driver suffered diabetic attack”

CHP Officer Ryan Fifield reported that a Tesla, driven by a 55-year-old man, was traveling westbound on Highway 237 around 10:45 a.m. when he suffered a diabetic attack and lost control of the vehicle. The 23-year-old passenger tried to steer the car onto the Zanker Road off-ramp but the car kept accelerating and crashed in a field.
Officer Fifield stated that the driver, his 50-year-old wife, and 23-year-old son were transported to a hospital with major injuries.
