The accident happened in the 700 block of Bascom Avenue near Renova Drive in front of Valley Medical Center. A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a green taxi for unknown reasons.
An ambulance responded and confirmed the pedestrian sustained minor to moderate injuries. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability.
“According to experts drivers are responsible the majority of the time for pedestrian accidents. These collisions occur when drivers are careless and fail to yield in a crosswalk or when they turn right on a red light without looking out for a pedestrian,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a California pedestrian accident and personal injury law firm.
