SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA (January 10, 2017) – A man was killed in an accident after his car went off a cliff on Highway 87 on Tuesday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 11:30 am on Highway 87 near the Skyport Drive off-ramp. A 2003 blue Jaguar sedan was reportedly approaching North First Street when the driver lost control of his car and crashed into a guardrail on the driver’s side of the car.
The driver was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. The driver has been identified only as a 45 year old man from Campbell. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
