SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA (January 9, 2017) – Creig Sachs has been identified as the victim killed in an accident on Monday, January 9th, on Story Road, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 8:36 pm at the intersection of Story Road and Lancelot Lane. 71 year old Creig Sachs was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a woman driving a Toyota Matrix.

Creig Sachs was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics, who declared the victim dead at the scene as a result of his injuries. The accident remains under investigation, and the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating in the ongoing investigation.
