Fatal Crash Under Investigation
SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA (December 9, 2016) – Two people died in a violent car crash on Capitol Avenue and Excalibur Drive in East San Jose early Sunday morning, according to CBS news. (map)
The accident occurred at about 4:00 a.m.. that a car had crashed into the center divide near Capital and Excalibur. The vehicle burst into flames after the crash.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the car was headed south on Capitol when it first hit the center divide, then the sound wall, where it caught fire.
The two occupants of the vehicle — who have not been identified — were pronounced dead at the scene.
