
“Tragic accident”
SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA (December 25, 2016) – According to the San Jose Police Department, 14-year-old Andrew Nguyen and 25-year-old drunk driver Jessica Marie Zamora were killed on Sunday morning in a head-on collision on Capitol Expressway and Snell Avenue. (map)
The SJPD reported that a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Zamora, drove into the path of a 2004 Lexus, driven by Andrew’s parents, after having a couple drinks at a nearby bar.
The SJPD states that all parties involved were transported to a hospital. Andrew’s parent’s were treated for minor injuries. Andrew tragically succumbed to his injuries. Zamora also died at the hospital after the accident.
