SAN GORGONIO PASS, CALIFORNIA (February 27, 2017) – An accident on State Route 60 left at least one woman injured on Monday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident was first reported around 10:13 a.m. on the eastbound side of State Route 60 near Summit. A black Honda or Toyota reportedly went off the roadway for an unknown reason and rolled over, landing on its wheels. It began smoking shortly after the accident.
Witnesses at the scene saw a woman out of the vehicle and laying down that appeared to be injured. Her condition is currently unknown, however an ambulance responded to the scene to tend to her injuries. It is unknown at this time whether any other vehicles were involved in the accident, or if anyone else was inside the car. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
