The accident happened just after 6:00 pm. A 70 year old woman, a 7 year old boy, and a 2 year old boy were crossing the street at the intersection of Sylvan Drive and Ocean Avenue, when they were struck by a vehicle driven by a 92 year old woman.
The three pedestrians were all rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. The woman that struck them allegedly remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability in this tragic accident.
