“Five people hospitalized”
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA (December 12, 2016) – According to the San Francisco Police Department, five were injured and five people were hospitalized after a car crashed into a bus stop on Sacramento and Stockton. (map)
SFPD Officer Giselle Talkoff reported that the collision occurred around 12:37 p.m. and ten pedestrians were struck at the San Francisco Muni bus stop.
Officer Talkoff states that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with SFPD.
“The conventional wisdom is that the pedestrian always has the right of way. This is not always the case and creates a dangerous situation. Many pedestrian deaths and injuries can be avoided by both drivers and pedestrians being alert and cautious,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law, a California personal injury law firm.
