SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA (December 16, 2016) – 10 people were injured when a car plowed into a bus stop at the intersection of Stockton Street and Sacramento Street this afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 12:37 pm when a car lost control on Stockton Street, veering into a parked car and then into another car, before crashing into a crowded bus stop.
Five people were rushed to San Francisco General Hospital with serious injuries, and five others were taken to other area hospitals with unspecified injuries. The investigation is ongoing and the driver of the car is currently cooperating with police.
