SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA (December 19, 2016) – A Muni bus struck a pedestrian and trapped her beneath the bus on Monday evening, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 7:15pm near the intersection of Market Street and 3rd Street. A Muni bus allegedly struck a female pedestrian, trapping her under the bus.
The pedestrian was identified only as a 60 year old woman. She was freed from the bus and rushed to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment. Market Street and 3rd Street were both closed as the investigation was conducted, which is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
