California Highway Patrol Investigating Traffic Acciddent
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA (December 13, 2016) – The California Highway Patrol reported injuries in a car accident at the intersection of Highway 101 and Silver Avenue off-ramp on Tuesday morning. (map)
According to a CHP report, two vehicles were involved in the collision on the 101 freeway near Silver Avenue.
One of the vehicles, a dark sedan, overturned and landed on its side.
A SigAlert was issued on the #1 lane of the 101 North freeway while responding crews cleared the scene and investigated the crash.
Emergency medical personnel arrived and provided medical attention to the injured parties. The number of people injured and severity of the injuries has not been disclosed.
The CHP will issue a report of the crash after the investigation is complete.
