Man and Woman Require Hospitalization after Two-Vehicle Crash
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – A man and woman were sightseeing while riding on a three-wheeled rental cart (an open top GoCar) on Sunday when they were hit by a vehicle near 24th Street and South Van Ness Avenue.
The incident occurred at about 1:40 p.m. when the couple was hit by a Toyota Corolla that was heading eastbound on 24th Street in the Mission District. The couple was ejected from the GoCar upon impact.
Emergency and Paramedic crews were called in and the couple had to be taken immediately to San Francisco General Hospital. Both victims sustained non-life threatening injuries. The Toyota Corolla driver was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
