SAN DIEGO: 54-Year-Old Motorcycle Rider Injured in Vehicle Collision on El Cajon Boulevard and Ohio Street

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA (May 3, 2017) – A 54-year-old motorcyclist was involved in a vehicle accident Wednesday evening, according the the San Diego Police Department. (map)

The accident occurred at approximately 8:00 p.m. The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on El Cajon Boulevard when the driver of a Plymonth Neon, traveling westbound on the same street, turned south onto Ohio Street in the path of the motorcyclist. The motorcycle hit the front end Neon sedan, according to police officials.

The motorcyclists sustained a serious leg injury. Emergency crews were called to the scene and transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital for treatment of the injury. The driver of the Neon sedan was not injured.
