SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA (March 3, 2017) – Two cars were involved in a collision on Interstate 15 early Friday morning, injuring at least four people according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 12:17 am on the northbound side of Interstate 15 near the Carmel Mountain Road exit. A grey Nissan Altima and a Lincoln sedan were involved in a collision for unknown reasons. The Nissan Altima sustained heavy front end damage as a result of the accident.
Four people were injured and were all rushed to Palomar Medical Center. The accident remains under investigation at this time, and authorities have not yet ruled out alcohol or drugs being a factor.
