SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA (January 4, 2017) – A six year old girl was hit by a car on Wednesday morning on Paradise Valley Road, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 8:00 am on Paradise Valley Road and Briarwood Road. The young girl was struck near Bell Middle School and Boone Elementary School.

The girl was initially unconscious but came to with the help of witnesses who lifted the vehicle off the young girl. The young girl was rushed to Rady Children’s Hospital, and her current condition is unknown. The investigation is ongoing, and the driver that struck the young girl remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
