California Highway Patrol Investigating Crash
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA (December 10, 2016) – A collision occurred on the 805 South Freeway at I-8 Freeway interchange at about 11:12 p.m. on Saturday, December 10th, 2016, reported the California Highway Patrol. (map)
According to the CHP report, a white sedan crashed into the embankment, causing the airbags to deploy. The report indicated another vehicle – a pickup truck – was involved in the crash and came to a rest in the bushes.
Emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene of the accident near the Interstate 8 and Interstate 805 intersection to assists any injured motorists. There has been no report on the extent of the injuries.
The California Highway Patrol will issue a report after a thorough analysis of the evidence.
