White GMC Pickup Truck and Dark Grey Subaru Collide at Intersection of Cole Grade Road and Cool Valley Road

SAN DIEGO, CA: GMC Pickup Truck Collides with Subaru with Alaskan Plates at Intersection

SAN DIEGO, CA, (March 14, 2017) (Map) – A white GMC pickup truck that was carrying pool cleaning equipment and chemicals  ran into a dark grey Subaru (with Alaska Plates) at the intersection of Cole Grade Road and Cool Valley Road.

The Subaru driver was attempting to make a left hand turn onto Cool Valley Road when the GMC pickup truck (which was heading north on Cole Grade Road) t-boned the the Subaru. The Subaru driver had to be transported to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido in order to be treated for severe injuries.

The GMC pickup truck driver’s injuries are not known at this time. However the GMC vehicle contained muriatic acid as well as chlorine which spread around the area surrounding the accident.

Alcohol or drugs might have been a factor in this accident and it remains unclear. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
