The accident happened around 12:05 pm on Wednesday. An MTA bus carrying 115 passengers was involved in a collision with an SUV in or near the right shoulder. Two bicycles were knocked off the bus and landed in the second lane as well.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found at least one person injured in the accident. The incident remains under open investigation as authorities attempt to determine how and why the bus and SUV collided.
