“Big-Rig vs. Sedan Accident”
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA (April 28, 2017) – A semi-truck and two sedans were involved in a collision on southbound Interstate 15 and Miramar Road Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 6:15 a.m. when two sedans and the semi-truck collided. Both vehicles were pinned under the trailer of the semi. One person involved in the crash sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital.
At least two more traffic accidents took place in the same area. The second collision involved another big-rig which caused a slowing of traffic. The cause of the second accident is unknown at this time. A third collision occurred in the northbound lanes of interstate 15 near Miramar Raod at approximately 6:30 a.m. in which a fire from a vehicle ensued. The blaze and was immediately put out. One person sustained minor injuries.
The identities of the parties involved in the accident were not released. All lanes of the freeway were back to normal at approximately 9:30 a.m.
