The man, identified as John Hannon, was struck by a white 2014 Toyota Sienna minivan traveling southbound on Highway 101 near Brittan Avenue around 6:36 pm.
45 year old John Hannon, a resident of Redwood City, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle that struck Hannon continued on down the road and exited on Whipple Avenue, and was later located and its driver arrested. She was identified as 36 year old Sharon Oo of Union City. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
